Scope

This extensive renovation of the 5-storey Staybridge Suites in Guelph involved updating 120 guest suites and public areas. The project began with project planning, coordinating shipping containers and managing onsite offload and storage during winter months.

The guest suites renovation included demolishing 120 kitchens, 129 vanities, partial flooring, appliances, and plumbing fixtures, followed by installing new kitchens, flooring, appliances, plumbing fixtures, and backsplash tiles in each suite. We collaborated with the client, designers and brand representatives from the establishment of scope from the PIP to execution on site.

In the public areas, flooring, furniture, wall vinyl and customized millwork was installed for the amenity areas, the drywall in the laundry room was replaced due to mold issue discovered on site. This comprehensive renovation significantly enhanced the hotel’s aesthetics, functionality and fulfilled the requirements set out in the Property Improvement Plan by the Brand.
